Individual Psychotherapy

You are here because you are struggling with something you can't figure out how to manage on your own.  It might be depression, overwhelming stress, decision making or relationship struggles.  To get you feeling better we use an eclectic combination of evidence-based modalities including mindfulness-based therapies, psychodynamic therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy tools (ACT), Narrative therapy, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and problem-solving therapy.  We also boost your coping skills, and communication strategies to have more effective relationships.

Trauma therapy with us involves learning grounding and coping strategies, emotional regulation tools, Seeking Safety curricula and Internal Family Systems (IFS) or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

We provide culturally competent mental healthcare to LGBTQIA+ people and their loved ones. Transgender, Non Binary, Re-Transitioning, Intersex, Two-Spirit, Agender, and those questioning gender are welcome. Generally, if you or someone you love is gender diverse, part of the kink community, a furry, has a relationship structure (CNM) or dynamic that is non normative, you are welcome here.

We also have additional experience with the Latine/Latinx community, BIMPOC clients, neurodivergent people, tech professionals, and one therapist is bilingual in the Spanish language (Hablamos español).

View our calendars to Book an Appt Now for a free, brief meeting to see if a therapist is a good fit.  Fill out our secure contact form if you have questions, want a full therapy appointment, or need to be matched with a provider.

Gender Therapy

You may want to explore your gender and want an experienced therapist to help you in that process.  We also see people who have a clear sense of their path but are struggling with coming out issues or making next steps. Not everyone who comes in to see us wants to make gender changes.  However, for those who need them,  we provide gender-focused therapy and gender health evaluations (letters) to be referred to medical providers.

We also see transgender/gender diverse people who don't need to work on gender at all but find when they've tried to see past therapists for one thing, like depression, an inexperienced therapist tends to be curious or asks inappropriate questions. This disconnect makes it difficult to actually focus on the issues that are important to you.

We offer group programming which includes an ongoing twice monthly Thursday night Gender Therapy Group and a new group for Partners of Gender Diverse People, Every other Wednesday,  forming in 2025.
