Meet the Clinical Director
Lisette Rose Lahana, LCSW
Welcome to Authentic Alliance, A Licensed Clinical Social Worker Professional Corporation began operating in January 2024. Over the next two years I plan to build a small team to offer high quality general mental health services to people of all ages.
I have a range of experience, having been licensed for over 20 years and working in different mental health settings. My training was as a psychodynamic therapist but over the years I having become an integrative therapist, creating a holistic approach to fit your needs. That may include dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based therapies. I have special experience working with people who have mood disorders, such as bipolar disorder. I've been a trauma and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist for over twenty years and ran an evidence-based trauma therapy group for seven years called Seeking Safety.
My career-long passion has been providing care to the gender diverse community, LGBTQIA individuals, their parents and loved ones.
I have been a clinical consultant since 2002 and a clinical supervisor for over ten years. Learn more about the work I do as a consultant and WPATH mentor to other therapists working with transgender, gender diverse clients and their families. I have consultation and mentorship slots open Monday-Fridays.

I provide online mental health services to clients ages 9 in California and have limited openings before 4pm. I work primarily with individuals and integrate family work when needed. Bilingual in the Spanish language (Yo hablo español), I am committed to providing culturally competent care to BIPOC clients, neurodivergent people and disabled folks.
I am a cisgender woman of mixed ethnicity, White & Latine identity. Learn more about these terms.
You can address me by my first name pronounced "LEE-SET" (pronouns she/her/hers)
I contribute monthly to the Transgender Law Center and their Black LGBTQIA+ Migrant Project and a land trust as we are based on the unceded Huchuin territory of the Ohlone (Lisjan) people.
