Sage Barrett, ASW

He/She

Mental Health Clinician

Sage-Barrett.jpg

I support teens (17+) and adults as they work toward developing meaningful relationships, emotional stability, and work-life balance. My clients have primarily been people navigating life transitions, exploring their identities, and coping with stress, loneliness, or anxiety. Each client has unique strengths and circumstances. Together we would collaborate on finding your path forward with personalized tools to get there. My practice is primarily telehealth/video-based.

My style offers humor, authenticity, and structure — always adapting to meet clients’ needs. I’ve worked in universities and community mental health organizations. I use modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy. I have a special affinity for queer and neurodivergent folks.

Having had a former career an software engineer, I enjoy providing therapy for tech professionals. I enjoy working with people who are transgender, non-binary, intersex, agender, questioning gender or re-identifying related to their gender.   Letters for medical interventions are only available for my individual therapy clients at this time, which are co-signed by my supervisor, a WPATH Mentor and Certified WPATH Member.

I know it can be stressful and time-consuming to find a new therapist. I encourage you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if you think we’d be the right fit! I have space for new therapy clients before 5pm.
