Working Part-Time at at Authentic Alliance as a Clinical Supervisor 
IFS, LGBTQIA+ & Neurodivergent Focus

We are seeking a California licensed supervisor to be a part of an LGBTQIA+ -focused mental health practice where you would provide supervision for our small practice at a W2 employee. Experience clinically/supervising related to middle school and high school students a must.  A plus if you have IFS training (LEVEL 2 or LEVEL 3) desired as one of the therapists being supervised is actively practicing IFS (Level 1).  Currently you would provide 1 hours of triadic or individual supervision/week and in may time late spring time may increase up to 3 hours/week. You can be paid admin time to address clinical questions each week and this includes an occasional review of supervisee notes for cases where there may be higher acuity or for general oversight. [Maximum admin time as follows: 1-9 clients=30 mins admin, 10-20 clients=1 hour admin, 20+=1.5 hours admin]. You would also take on the occasional role of "back up" group supervisor and clinician to cover for supervision or client needs while clinicians take time off. All clinicians attend group supervision with the practice owner/director in addition to the individual or triadic supervision you provide.

Paid staff meetings are the 3rd Wed. from 12:30-1:30pm and you would be requested to attend periodically. You’ll have an important role in building our practice’s supportive team culture and professional reputation. We have a supportive administrative team including an office manager, biller and marketing team.

 

The Supervisor would be welcome to provide Self-Pay or PPO psychotherapy services, consultation groups/individual consultation as a part of the practice.  We have space available in our Oakland office (Tu nights/Thus). Most of our practice is telehealth-based.

 Benefits and Pay

 

•$45/base rate per admin hour worked and $130/supervision hour (triadic/individual)

• Option to provide client or consultation hours at a favorable rate (60% discretionary bonus payment to the clinician after the $45/base rate factored in)

Responsibilities

 

-Supervise 2-4 master's level pre-licensed clinicians expanding from a half-time to a full-time caseload.

- Develop treatment interventions relevant to our practice’s common clinical diagnoses including depression, ASD, ADHD, anxiety disorders and gender dysphoria

- Teach supervisees evidence-based interventions in therapy sessions

- Provide crisis intervention services as needed for supervisee clients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supervision and occasional review of clinician notes as the supervisor deems necessary for oversight of work.

-Provide occasional clinical and supervisory coverage for colleagues out of the office at the supervision rate.

 

Qualifications

 

- The applicant will have graduated from an accredited doctoral or master’s program and obtained a current California based license including LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PhD or PsyD

- Obtain required licenses

-Professional Individual Malpractice Insurance (in addition to the practice’s group insurance)

-Have an individual NPI Number

- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA policies

- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans for clients and follow WPATH SOC Version 8

- Clinical experience and interest in transgender, non binary, gender-questioning, queer, polyamorous, kink and other sexual minorities required

-IFS Level 2 or 3 and at least one trauma therapy, and a plus if experienced with relationship therapy

-Comfortable with conducting supervision as a telehealth provider

-Required BBS courses to supervise associates

-Ability to utilize electronic medical records systems

-Strong wifi and own a computer for meetings (phone, laptop and utilities for remote work reimbursed)

-Proficient in Google programs such as Google Docs, Google Chat and Google Sheets

-Open to feedback from manager and have the ability to use it to make improvements

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage well with staff and supervisees
